It is no stretch of the imagination to proclaim Evan McDole one of the most prolific athletes ever to pull on a Brossart basketball jersey or baseball uniform. He has been a mainstay in this program since he played his first game as a freshmen and has left an indelible mark on both of these sports which will never be forgotten. In four years, he has risen to become the fifth leading scorer in the history of Brossart basketball dating back to 1954. His basketball teams have amassed 79 wins in his four year career which has included four consecutive wins over arch-rival Newport Central Catholic, three in a row over Campbell County and Three out of Four wins over Covington Catholic, twice while they were ranked Number One in Northern Kentucky. In his senior season he led the Mustangs to two victories in the Fifth-Third Bank Classic at Lexington Catholic, with one of those wins eliminating the host school from their own tournament. He finishes his career at Brossart High School as the leading scorer and rebounder on a team that won our school's first NKAC Division II Conference Title, with an undefeated 6-0 mark. We completed a sweep of all Diocesan Parochial Schools for the first time ever and were ranked Number One in all of Northern Kentucky in the final Enquirer and Kentucky Post polls. While we will create a special "Baseball Legends" page for Evan it is worthy to note that he has led the Mustangs in scoring in his last two baseball seasons, hitting .370 as a freshman, .467 as a sophomore, and .489 as a junior. As a sophomore he set the school doubles record with 16 and narrowly missed Justin Seiter's 13 home run record last year, finishing the season with 12 dingers. He was named the "Northern Kentucky Baseball Player of the Year" last season and played on the Kentucky State Junior All-Star team. Evan went on to play his college baseball at Northern Kentucky University where he received the GLVC's Paragon Award, was named the GLVC Player of the Year his Junior Season, and was awarded post-graduate scholarship money by the NCAA. On Tuesday, March 25th, 2014 Evan was inducted into the 10th Region Hall of Fame, joining Nathan and Justin Seiter as Brossart's only three players to be so honored. Evan McDole has truly earned the title of being "THE BOSS." |

In addition to being inducted into the 10th Region Hall of Fame in 2014, he was inducted into the Bishop Brossart Sports Hall of Fame in 2015 for his prowess on the baseball diamond, as well as his impact on the hardwood. |
