Coach Mike Code on Ethan Eilerman: Ethan has developed into one of the best players in the history of BBHS. He will walk out the doors as a top five scorer in school history. He has averaged 20 ppg this season and was named First Team 10th Region-All-Region, to go along with All-Region Honorable Mention honors his sophomore and junior seasons, and NKBBCA All-Star Honors. Ethan's contributions go well beyond his stat line. His greatest accomplishment this season in my opinion has been in the leadership role he has embraced. He has taken an ownership in this team and led them to success. He is a two time All A Tournament, All-District Tournament, and All-Regional Tournament Team Member and leaves with over 1,300 points. |

Twin Brothers Alec and Ethan Eilerman played together as teammates all four years. Together they scored 2,011 total points during that timespan. |
Ethan never played a day of Junior Varsity basketball beyond his freshman year. He made the jump from Freshman Team starter to Varsity Starter as a sophomore, where he embarked on a string of playing in 89 consecutive varsity games. Playing alongside Zach Hamberg, Bryce Donnelly, and J.D. Schumacher, his sophomore season, he was the second leading scorer behind Hamberg, putting up 291 points while averaging 10.8ppg, earning him the team MVP award. Eilerman (407) and J.D. Schumacher (462) were the leading scorers on the 2018-19 Mustangs team, combining for 869 points, and were joined by a pair of high-potential sophs Carson Schirmer and Stephen Verst. Together, they won 19 games, and only late season bad weather cancellations, deprived them of a 20 wins season. |
Ethan started in 87 of the 89 varsity games in which he played beginning with the onset of his sophomore year. The only two that he did not start were on Senior Nights his sophomore and junior seasons. |
