In February of 2004 the Brossart Mustangs Won Their Third 10th Region All "A" Championship. They Advanced to the All "A" State Tournament at EKU in Richmond, Kentucky where they defeated Somerset 53-32 in the opening round, University Heights Academy 60-50 in the quarterfinals, Newport Central Catholic 38-35 in the Semis and lost to State Champion Hazard 43-38 in the Finals.
In 2001 We Lost to AllenCounty Central in the opening round, and in 2003 advanced to the quarterfinals where we were defeated by Frankfort.
The Mustangs vow a return trip to Richmond in 2005 and a return of the big trophy to the Avenue of Champions in Alexandria. |
