| Mustangs Advance In 38th District Tournament By Defeating Bracken Co 33-23 |
| Ben Ridder (8) and Jeremy Beckerich (4) combined for 12 of their team's 13 first quarter points as the Mustangs pulled out to a 13-5 lead after six minutes of play. The Mustangs would take a 20-13 lead to the locker-room at halftime and were forced to turnback the comeback minded Polar Bears who closed to 24-20 after three quarters. Matt Moore hit 4 of 4 from the charity stripe and Nick Bezold contributed a big bucket as the Mustangs prevailed 33-23. Ridder finished the night with 12 points. Beckerich narrowly missed a double-double with 8 points and 10 rebounds. |
