| Our Prayer Published Sunday, December 5th The Day Of His Visitation |
| Lord, help us find comfort and strength in You and in each other to get us through these, our most difficult of days, which lie directly ahead. Help those of us who loved, admired, and shared in him to cope with this tragic loss and seek solace in the fact that he is not dead, but alive in a better place, basking in the glory of Your kingdom in heaven. Allow the time spent with those who remain with us here on earth to ease the pain of our loss with the hope that one day we will join him in Your paradise where once again we will enjoy his smile, his laugh, his hugs, his wit, his talents,and his friendship and love, forever. Take special care of his parents, his brothers, his sister, and his sweetheart, who must live with constant reminders of him, present in their daily lives. Allow them to take comfort in knowing that he was a treasure not only to them but to his friends, his school, his community, and his workforce, and will never be forgotten by them. We thank you for the time you did allow us to spend with him, as he enriched our lives, brightened our days, displayed the exceptional talents that You bestowed upon him, and shared in the bounty of your nature. It is with these thoughts in mind that we will gather one last time in his presence, in tribute to the wonderful person that he was, seeking closure to his life with us here on earth, as we entrust him to Your care for all eternity. Amen |
