  Coach Kevin Bundy joined "Team Code" in the capacity of Varsity Asistant Coach for the 2007-08 season. 
   He is in his fifth year with the Mustangs, working primarily with our "bigs" and has been instrumental with the development and emergence of 6-9 250 pound, Senior Joe Jennings.   Coach Bundy works in lock-step with Mike Code in scouting and game plan preparations.
   In four seasons as the junior varsity coach at Simon Kenton and Highlands, Kevin compiled a 73-23 record.
   He began his coaching career at Lloyd High School and worked on the same staff under Bill Code, with Mike Code for five seasons.
   His 2006 Simon Kenton JV team won the 32nd District Championship.  The same season he coached the freshmen team to a school record 17 wins, and captured the district tournament.  He was an varsity assistant on the 8th Region Runner-up team as well.
   Kevin spent eight seasons as a varsity assistant at Highlands under coach John Messmer.  During that time, the Bluebirds won four 9th Region Championships.
   Kevin works as a freelance writer/editor.  He's been awarded 11 times by The Community Press newspaper group for his work in continuing coverage, investigative reporting, features and sports packages, and six times by the Cincinnati chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
  A lifelong resident of Erlanger, Kevin is a 1985 graduate of Lloyd High School.  He is often recognized for his work with the Blacktop Youth Basketball League, which he has coordinated for the city for 14 years.
   In recent years Coach Bundy has coached the 16-Under and 17-Under AAU Northern Kentucky Shining Stars, traveling all over the eastern part of the nation and in Orlando, Florida for the AAU Nationals.
  JV Coach Scott Code returns for a second go-round on his brother Mike's staff, having served as the Mustangs' varsity assistant from 2004 through 2007.  He was a member of our 2007 All "A" State Championship staff.
   Scott accepted the head coaching position at neighboring Campbell County High School in 2007, where he compiled a record of 49-32 over 3 seasons.  This past year he served as an assistant at Thomas More College.
   Scott began his coaching career in the Erlanger-Elsmere School system where he served in various capacities for six years before joining the Highlands staff in 1998.
   There he coached freshmen boys for five years from 1998 through 2002 and served as Varsity Assistant to John Messmer during that timeframe.  His Freshmen won the 9th Region Championship that same year.
   Pror to joining the Brossart staff in 2004, Scott spent two seasons as varsity assistant at Dixie Heights High School.
   Scott did his undergraduate work at NKU and received his Masters Degree in 2003.  He is married to Brossart grad Maria Bacon. The couple reside here in Alexandria and are proud parents of daughter Makenzie 6, and son Alex 3.
