| Coach Kevin Bundy joined "Team Code" in the capacity of Varsity Asistant Coach for the 2007-08 season and promply helped orchestrate an upset of St. Patrick in the 2008 10th Region "A" Classic and then an upset of third ranked Lexington Christian in the 2008 10th Region "A" State Tournament. In four seasons as the junior varsity coach at Simon Kenton and Highlands, Kevin compiled a 73-23 record. He began his coaching career at Lloyd High School and worked on the same staff under Bill Code, with Mike Code for eleven seasons. His 2006 Simon Kenton JV team won the 32nd District Championship. The same season he coached the freshman team to a school record 17 wins, and captured the district tournament. He was an varsity assistant on the 8th Region Runner-up varsity team as well. Kevin spent eight season as a varsity assistant at Highland under coach John Messmer. During that time, the Bluebirds won four 9th REgion Championships. Kevin works as a freelance writer/editor. He's been awarded 11 times by The Community Pres newspaper group for his work in continuing coverage, investigative reporting, features and sports packages, and four times by the Cincinnati chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. |
| A lifelong resident of Erlanger, Kevin is a 1985 graduate of Lloyd High School. He is often recognized for his work with the Blacktop Youth Basketball League, which he has coordinated for the city for 13 years. During the past two summers Coach Bundy has coached the 16-Under and 17-Under AAU Northern Kentucky Shining Stars, in which Jacob Rieger, Jordan Armstrong, and Justin Morscher have been mainstays, traveling all over the eastern part of the nation and in Orlando, Florida for the AAU Nationals. |

| Coach Kenny Collopy steps in to take over the Junior Varsity boys basketball coaching duties this season, and is looking forward to working with the nucleus of last year's 37th District and 10th Rgion Championship Freshmen Team while coaching our JVs.
Coach Collopy is a 2003 graduate of Newport Central Catholic High School, where he lettered at baseball and basketball, winning the Thoroughbred Hustle Award his senior season. Collopy is a 2007 graduate of the University of Louisville where he received his Bchelor of Arts degree in Sports Administration. He presently attends NKU where he is completing some undergraduate requirements, prior to pursuing a masters degree. Ken hopes some day to teach, coach, and serve as an Athletic Director. In 2008-09 Coach Collopy worked on Willie Schlarman's staff at Highlands, serving as varsity assistant. He has also coached extensively in the AAU and grade school ranks. He worked full-time this year at our Summer Youth Camp. We welcome Coach Collopy and wish him a long and successful tenure here on Team Code with the Brossart Mustangs!!! |
