In a nutshell - Mustangs fell behind 28-0 after three periods to Bellevue JVs. Mounted a fourth quarter rally as Tony Woeste runs 30 yards for a touchdown and two-point conversion. Woeste also had an interception. Ryne Heck had a 50 yard touchdown and some very nice kick returns. Brett Moss had a 40 yd touchdown but saw his PAT streak end.
Linebackers Evan Harris Aaron Dennis and Chris Bowman combined for 38 tackles.
More aptly named the Typhoon Bowl, our Mustangs performed in as brutal of weather conditions as anyone in the state has this season. They were greeted in Eminence with a torrential downpour, gusting winds, and bone-chilling cold temperatures. The Mustangs were unable to contain the lightning quick speed of the Warrior running game and fell behind 28-0 by halftime. Brossart would maintain our streak of having scored in each game with ten seconds to spare as Greg Storz recovered a fumble in the endzone, and ran in the extra point. The Mustangs fall to 3-6 on the season.
