In the district tournament the Mustangs avenged an earlier season 40-25 loss to Campbell County by defeating them in double-overtime 47-42. They beat Covington Catholic 42-32 in Park Hills. In the championship game of the 10th Region Freshmen Tournament, they defeated Clark County who came into the game with a 16-4 record, sustaining losses only to Madison Central, Mason County, Louisville Male, and Louisville Trinity. |
