| St. Mary 7th Graders Resilient Against Older, Stronger, More Mature Holmes 8th Grade Bulldogs - Fall 47-32 St. Mary 7th Grade Coach Mitch Orth brought his Saint Mary Saints to the SyDome on Thursday night to play the prelim game vs the Holmes 8th Grade Bulldogs. While overmatched, the Saints acquitted themselves well by keeping it close into the fourth quarter when they were within eight points at 33-25 with four minutes to play. Rashawn Coston proved to be the major factor in the Saints' 47-32 demise, leading all scorers with 14 points, 8 of them coming in the pivitol 14 point fourth quarter. Jake Jennings came from off the bench to pace the Saints attack with 12 points, on five field-goals and two free-throws.
