Dooms Mustangs To
28-17 Defeat
Our JVs were not so fortunate, as Campbell County claimed the JV game 28-17.  In that one, it appeared to be going to be a typical Brossart-Campbell JV game - ugly and low-scoring.  Things were going along according to plan when Brian Wolfer connected on a pair of free-throws giving the Mustangs a 11-4 lead, and then didn't score again until the middle of the fourth quarter, having dug themselves an insurmountable deficit.  This was the first JV loss to the Camels since December 13th, 2003.

Box Score:  Patterson 0-0-1/2-1, Kremer 1-2-0/1-8,

Unfortunately, the varsity section of the wireless broadcast broke up into short segments with some gaps.
The Brossart freshmen took care of business in the lidlifter, prevailing 49-37 over their Campbell County counterparts.
It appeared early on that the Mustangs would route the Camels as they opened up a 15-2 lead after a quarter of play, and 28-9 at the half.  Campbell County became the aggressors out of the locker room after halftime, outscoring our Mustangs 28-21 in the second half.
Jacob Rieger led all scorers with 14 points, Jordan Armstrong added 11.  The Freshmen Mustangs are now 5-0 and more importantly 2-0 in 37th District seeding competition..
