  Troy Cooper did what he does best again on Wendesday night in Erlanger - score - in leading the Mustangs with 23 points, to their second win of the young season while notching their first NKAC Divsion II win 62-37 over the homestanding Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts.
    The story of the first half was the Mustang defense which limited the Juggs to but 4 points in the first fourteen minutes of the game while the Stangs ran out to a 26-4 lead.  Lloyd got hot in the final minute and a half prior to intermission and scored seven unanswered points before Jimmy Uebel put out the fire with a three-ball just ahead of the halftime horn, putting the Stangs on top 29-11.    The Mustangs outscored Lloyd 33-26 in the second half to post the 62-37 win.

Josh Kidney was second high leading scorer with 12, while Jimmy Uebel added 10 as the Mustangs improve to 2-0 heading into the Alexandria Businessmen's Classic "Crosstown Shootout" with the Campbell County Camels on Saturday night.
Congratulations to Sophomores Mitch Patterson, Brian Wolfer, and Freshman Jordan Armstrong who all scored their first varsity points!!!

  The Mustang JVs won their second game in as many tries, defeating Lloyd Memorial 44-34 on the road Wednesday night.
The Mustangs took a two point lead, 12-10 after a quarter of play, but extended the lead to 22-14 at halftime, pushing it out to 37-22.after three stanzas.
  Freshmen Jordan Armstrong and Jacob Rieger took advantage of some JV playing time, putting up nine points apiece to pace ten Mustang JV scorers.  Brian Wolfer scored 7, and Greg Stortz 6 in the winning effort.
