Nathan Mutsch was the Mustangs hero du jour, scoring 20 points and grabbing 14 rebounds as the Mustangs were forced to play from behind to defeat the Silver Grove Big Trains and earn a date with Scott in the 37th Distirct Tournament and more importantly a berth in next week's 10th Region tournament. The Stangs trailed 19-10 after the first period and 30-25 at intermission before going on a 38-22 run in the second half propelling us to the 63-52 victory. Josh Kidney delivered two big three-point goals in the third quarter in which he scored ten of his total of fourteen points on the night. Troy Cooper did his normal yeoman's job in the paint, scoring 15 on the night, while the Trains were able to limit Jimmy Uebel to four points on the night, one game removed from putting up 28 against CovCath.
